Search Taylor County Detention Center Releases

To find someone released from Taylor County Detention Center after a Green County arrest, match the active jail record with the Green County court case and the facility’s custody-exit record. Taylor is the serving detention center for Green County, while the arrest and criminal case remain tied to Green agencies and courts. A person who leaves the current roster may have returned to the community or transferred to another custodian. The release type, destination, and authority are needed to tell those results apart and to continue in the correct state, federal, or immigration system.

Taylor Detention Release Routes

Taylor County Detention Center is the active county detention center serving ordinary Green County bookings. Kentucky DOC operating-jail reports list Taylor and omit Green. The working Taylor County JailTracker confirms a current-custody route. It does not provide a verified historical 24-hour or 72-hour release archive.

A local detainee may leave Taylor on bond, recognizance, time served, sentence completion, a court order, probation, shock probation, or another disposition. The person may also transfer to Kentucky DOC, another county, federal authorities, ICE, treatment, or a medical setting. Taylor’s recorded release type and destination distinguish a community exit from continued custody elsewhere.

Release transaction
The facility record showing when and why its custody ended.
Recognizance
A court-authorized release based on a promise to comply rather than secured bond.
Transfer
A handoff to another custodian, not release to the community.
Shock probation
A court-ordered move to probation after a period of confinement, not a parole grant.

Confirm Taylor Detention Releases

Begin with the roster only when the arrest is recent. Save the search time, name, booking number, booking date, and other visible identifiers. A current listing confirms active roster data at that moment. Absence does not prove release because a transfer, update lag, correction, or alternate placement can produce the same result.

  1. Search Taylor JailTracker and record the time observed.
  2. Search Kentucky VINE by the person’s name or identifier and compare the location.
  3. Search CourtNet for the Green County case, then obtain the operative order and full docket from the clerk.
  4. Call Taylor and ask whether the public record can confirm current custody or the date and type of exit.
  5. Request the booking and release transaction from the official records custodian.
  6. If the destination is another agency, use that agency’s official locator and records.

The result should fit the timeline. A Green arrest is followed by a Taylor booking. A Green court order may authorize bond, dismissal, sentence, or probation. Taylor then records the physical exit or transfer. A DOC admission, federal handoff, or immigration transfer begins another custody record.

Important: A person who drops off Taylor JailTracker is not confirmed released until a facility, court, VINE, or receiving-agency record explains the change.

Taylor Detention Records Contact

Taylor is the first contact for booking, custody-exit, transfer, and booking-photo questions about a Green County detainee housed there. The research identified no public Taylor release-feed URL, open-record form, records custodian name, release cadence, retention period, or official mobile jail application. Call the published number and ask for the records custodian and correct written submission channel.

A narrow request is easier to match. Provide the full legal name, birth date if known, Green County arrest date, arresting agency, case number, and Taylor booking number. Ask for existing records: the booking sheet, booking photograph, date and time custody ended, recorded reason, destination field, and release authorization. Do not ask the custodian to create a conclusion that the record does not contain.

Green County Sheriff remains the source for its own arrest and transport records. The Green County Circuit Court Clerk supplies the bond, dismissal, sentence, probation, or other court order. Taylor should not be expected to certify the complete court history, and the Green clerk should not be expected to certify Taylor’s processing time.

Taylor Release Record Fields

A complete Taylor release record links one person to one booking and one custody exit. Terminology matters. If the record says “transfer,” preserve that word. If it says bond or court order, do not rewrite it as a final case dismissal. Each field should be read with the Green County docket.

FieldWhat it establishes
Name and identifying dataThe person matched to the Taylor booking.
Booking numberThe specific custody episode.
Booking dateWhen Taylor recorded admission.
Exit date and timeWhen Taylor recorded the end of its custody.
Release reason or typeBond, time served, order, sentence completion, transfer, or another exact term.
Authority and destinationThe source of the release and the next custodian where recorded and public.

No public retention promise was found for Taylor’s roster or release transaction. Once an active detail disappears, the booking image and fields may no longer be available through JailTracker. Request the historical booking image with the booking sheet and release transaction. The agency may apply exemptions or redactions under current law.

Green Court and Taylor Release

The detention record and court file remain in different counties. The Green County Court of Justice case explains legal authority and disposition. Taylor records what the jail did. A bond order may authorize release but does not show when bond was posted, a surety approved, detainers cleared, or processing finished. Taylor’s exit record shows the operational event but may not state the final outcome of the case.

District Court handles the early stages of felony cases and misdemeanor or other limited-jurisdiction matters. Circuit Court handles felony prosecutions. Relevant docket entries include bond, recognizance, conditions, dismissal, plea, verdict, sentence, jail credit, probation, revocation, shock probation, and satisfaction or discharge. Obtain the actual order when the exact result matters.

If CourtNet has no result, try spelling variants and ask the clerk. The file may be older, offsite, destroyed under an authorized schedule, sealed, expunged, or recorded differently. No online result is not proof that no case existed. KRS 431.073 and KRS 431.076 address important Kentucky expungement routes, but current eligibility must be checked for the individual case.

Taylor Current Roster Limits

Taylor JailTracker is a roster, not a list of people released today. No official Green or Taylor 24-hour release page was found. No 72-hour release page, recent-release archive, update cadence, post-release retention statement, or official release app was identified. The current interface must not be used to manufacture those missing windows.

The captured official roster source shows the public starting point. Taylor County’s rendered JailTracker appears below.

The screenshot documents current-custody access. It does not establish a historical release record or how long an entry remains visible after a person leaves.

When the person no longer appears, record the observation time, call Taylor, check VINE, inspect the Green court docket, and request the exit transaction. Social posts and commercial mirrors are not substitutes for a complete facility record.

Taylor DOC Offender Releases

Taylor may also house qualifying Kentucky DOC offenders in local placement. Their release path differs from an ordinary Green County pretrial booking. KOOL identifies the state offender, status, and public sentence information. DOC Daily Releases can name Taylor County Detention Center as the releasing institution and supply a DOC number and release type.

The DOC Daily Releases report may use terms such as parole, shock probation, Mandatory Reentry Supervision, discharge, or expiration. Preserve the exact type. A state offender released from Taylor can appear there even though an ordinary local bond release does not. This second trail explains why a Taylor release can belong to different record systems.

Match the daily report to KOOL by DOC number and identifiers. Institution location is not necessarily conviction county, so also check the sentencing court. For formal proof, request the release certificate or order through DOC open records. The state retention schedule identifies permanent release records under series 02990.

Taylor Release Notifications

Kentucky VINE receives data from county-jail booking systems and state institutions. Search one person by name or identification number. Read the location and custody wording exactly. If both Taylor and DOC records appear during transfer, register for both when the application supports it so one record’s closure does not end all notices.

Notifications can cover release, transfer, escape, and some parole events through phone, email, text, or app. Phone registration uses a four-digit PIN. Calls may repeat during the stated 24-hour period until the PIN acknowledges the notice. Registration is confidential from the offender.

A VINE alert is not infallible. Kentucky documented false release alerts in February 2026. When an alert conflicts with Taylor JailTracker, contact the facility and compare identifiers. A roster may lag, VINE may lag, or two records may describe different custodians. Facility and agency records should settle the event.

Taylor Transfer Destinations

A Taylor exit can begin another custody episode. Request the destination rather than assuming the person went home. The destination controls which search applies next.

The BOP status “Released” or “Not in BOP custody” only describes BOP custody. ICE may show current detainees and some people released from ICE custody within the prior 60 days. Neither system should be searched for an ordinary Taylor booking without facts pointing to that custody type.

Taylor Release Verification Conflicts

Conflicts often disappear when time and agency are separated. If Taylor says released while VINE says in custody, ask for Taylor’s destination and timestamp. VINE may lag or show a second DOC record. If VINE alerts release while Taylor still lists the person, contact Taylor and note the documented false-alert risk.

A Green court dismissal and a Taylor listing can both be correct when another charge, warrant, hold, or agency authorizes detention. Obtain the dismissal order and ask what booking or hold remains. If KOOL shows parole while a stale jail directory says incarcerated, prefer current official records and check for a new booking rather than treating the old page as live data.

Use at least two identifiers whenever possible. Name-only matches can merge different people. Preserve the source term and observation date. “Not on Taylor’s roster at a stated time” is an observation. “Released to the community” is a conclusion that needs a release or status record.

About Taylor Detention Custody

Taylor County Detention Center is at 120 South Central Avenue in Campbellsville and is operated as a county detention facility. It serves as the immediate custodian for Green County booking and custody-exit questions. No verified capacity, release hour, public release schedule, or app was established in the research, so none should be inferred from other counties or commercial directories.

The Green County released-inmate record search combines Taylor’s custody record with Green County court, VINE, KOOL, and federal or immigration sources when applicable. The sibling Former Green County Jail record page explains why the Sheriff’s office must not be mistaken for an active detention facility.

For a decisive historical answer, request the existing transaction. Ask for the exact exit type, time, authority, and destination. A current roster is useful at the start of a recent search, but the facility record and court order provide the lasting evidence after the live entry changes.
