Review Green County 72-Hour Releases

A Green County 72 hour release list would cover a wider three-day window, which can help when a custody change may have happened over a weekend or holiday. No such official public feed is available for Green County or its serving detention center. To check who was released in the last 72 hours, build the timeline from the serving jail, state notification records, Green County court orders, and state corrections reports. The live roster only shows who is currently listed. Absence does not identify the date, type, or destination of a release.

Green County 72-Hour Release List

No official rolling 72-hour release page was found on the Green County Sheriff site or for Taylor County Detention Center, which ordinarily books Green County arrests. The sheriff site has no inmate lookup at all. Taylor's working JailTracker is a current roster, not a release archive, and no separate recent-release URL appeared in the official-site sweep.

The lack of a public window should be stated plainly. It does not mean Taylor lacks internal release transactions. It means a reader cannot reliably browse a complete three-day list online. The records line and written request process take the place of a public feed when the time, reason, and destination matter.

Important: A roster snapshot cannot reconstruct three days of exits. Ask for the recorded release transaction and compare it with the court or custody source.

This differs from the Green County same-day release check, which focuses on a very recent change. The 72-hour process preserves multiple dated observations and is better suited to weekend gaps.

Check Green County Three-Day Releases

Choose the start and end of the 72-hour period before searching. Write them down with the time zone. A rolling window is not the same as three calendar dates, and no local agency has published a cadence that would settle the difference. Keep claims tied to actual timestamps.

  1. Check the Taylor County current roster and note the exact access time.
  2. Call Taylor at 270-789-1909 with the person's full name, birth date if known, Green arrest date, and booking number.
  3. Ask whether an existing record can confirm the custody-end date, time, release type, and any receiving agency.
  4. Search Kentucky VINE and compare the location and custody status with the Taylor observation.
  5. Review CourtNet and obtain the Green County order that may have authorized bond, recognizance, release, dismissal, sentence, or probation.
  6. For a state offender, review KOOL and DOC Daily Releases for each date in the window.
  7. Submit a narrow records request if the transaction cannot be confirmed by phone or online.

A time-stamped sequence is more useful than a bare “not found” result. It also makes a lag or custody handoff easier to spot.

Green County 72-Hour Record Fields

Since there is no public Green County three-day feed, no website field list can be promised. The useful fields come from the underlying Taylor transaction and related Green court record. Ask for existing records rather than requesting a new explanation.

FieldThree-day use
Person and booking identifierKeeps similarly named people and separate bookings apart
Booking datePlaces the custody episode before the selected window
Release date and timeShows whether the event falls inside the 72 hours
Release type or reasonPreserves the custodian's exact event label
Release authorityLinks the exit to a court order or agency action
Destination or recipientShows whether custody ended or moved elsewhere

Include the Green County arresting agency and CourtNet case number when known. Those details help Taylor locate the right booking. If Taylor does not hold a local-origin field, ask the Green County Sheriff for the arrest and transport record while leaving the jail release transaction with Taylor.

Note: No official online retention period is published, so an older three-day window may require records from Taylor, the court, or DOC.

Green County Weekend Release Gaps

A three-day window often crosses a weekend, holiday, or court-to-jail processing gap. Green County court action and Taylor's physical exit can occur at different times. A bond order establishes authority, but the detention center records when the person actually left or transferred. Never force those timestamps to match.

No Green or Taylor weekend-release policy was found. It would be unsupported to promise that a person leaves early, late, or on the next business day. Court hours also do not define detention processing hours. If a Friday order and Monday roster observation leave a gap, obtain the Taylor transaction.

State offender records add another schedule. DOC Daily Releases can identify a Kentucky offender released from Taylor County Detention Center, including a release type and releasing institution. These reports do not cover every local pretrial bond release. Search each date in the window and keep the state track separate from the local jail track.

Green County Roster Data Quirk

Green County's current-custody source is labeled Taylor County because local detention ordinarily occurs in Campbellsville. Current Kentucky DOC operating-jail material lists Taylor and omits Green. The official Green County Sheriff page presents its Greensburg location as an office, with no jail roster or release archive. Stale directories that call that address an active jail create a local misinformation trap.

The current Taylor JailTracker screen documents the starting point:

Taylor County current roster used for Green County 72 hour release checks

The image shows why the public tool cannot be treated as a three-day history. Once a person drops off, the display does not itself distinguish community release, state commitment, transfer, or correction.

Green County has an active online custody trail, but it belongs to Taylor and covers current status only. The Green court file remains the durable judicial trail after JailTracker changes.

Green County Three-Day Source Conflicts

Conflicts are common when several systems update on different schedules. If Taylor says released while VINE says in custody, ask for the release destination and both timestamps. VINE may lag, or it may show a second DOC record. A transfer can make both statements accurate at different moments.

If VINE alerts release while Taylor still lists the person, call Taylor. Kentucky documented false VINE release alerts during a vendor incident in February 2026. Roster lag is possible, but the alert can also be wrong. Neither source wins merely because it is newer.

A dismissed Green County charge does not guarantee immediate freedom. Another charge, hold, warrant, or agency may continue custody. Likewise, a passed KOOL projected date is not an actual release record. Review the live status, Daily Releases, parole history, and DOC records.

Note: When sources conflict, preserve each exact label and time, then obtain the agency record instead of guessing which result is correct.

Green County Release Channel Comparison

The three-day window should follow the agency that controlled the relevant custody. Local, state, federal, and immigration systems do not form one universal release list.

A Taylor line in DOC Daily Releases may describe a state offender leaving local placement. It should not be expanded into a list of every Taylor release. Similarly, BOP “Released” or “Not in BOP custody” does not prove the person is in Green County or free of another agency's custody.

ICE may show some people released from its custody during the prior 60 days. A Taylor transfer to ICE is continued custody unless later ICE information establishes another change.

Request Green County Release Proof

For the local event, contact Taylor first and ask for the official records custodian. A narrow request should identify the person and a tight date range, then seek the booking sheet, date and time custody ended, recorded reason, destination field, and release authorization. State that existing records are requested.

Green Sheriff can be contacted at 203 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY 42743, by telephone at 270-932-5641, or by email at greencountyso@windstream.net for arrest and transport records. Its site publishes no open-records form, detention fee schedule, office hours, or named custodian, so none should be assumed.

The Green County Circuit Court Clerk supplies the docket and operative orders. CourtNet is the online lead, while the clerk can locate older or offsite records. An absent result can also reflect sealing, expungement, correction, or an identity mismatch.

For a DOC event, email correctionsopenrecords@ky.gov, fax 502-564-9575, or mail P.O. Box 2400, Frankfort, KY 40602. DOC asks for a name and birth date or offender number, publishes a $0.10-per-page copy charge, and states a five-business-day response period. Ask for the actual release type, date, institution, and supervision start or end.

Green County Released or Still Held

A current Taylor roster entry supports current jail custody at the time viewed. Absence supports only that the person was not found in that snapshot. The next record may show bond release, court-ordered release, time served, sentence completion, state commitment, another jail, federal custody, immigration custody, treatment, or a data correction.

KOOL can show a state offender as imprisoned, on parole, on probation, under Mandatory Reentry Supervision, or discharged. Community status is not the same as final discharge. VINE can send a change alert, but the facility or DOC record should confirm a major event.

For one named person whose timeline extends beyond three days, the Green County released inmate and record search combines the full local, court, state, and federal paths. Keep each source in its proper role and use the actual release transaction when the event date matters.
